triplecrowncommitteeWelcome to the Triple Crown of Exchanges winner's circle! Triple Crown winners must meet the requirements set out in our rules here — in short, winners are folks who've posted 10k (or equivalent) works to each of the three exchanges and remain in good standing with all three exchanges.
It's time to verify wins, claim prizes and enter raffles! This post serves as an overview of the process as well as a place for you to find important links. Prize and raffle ticket claiming ends April 16th (countdown) and raffle tickets will be pulled in a live Discord event on April 17th (countdown) (Discord invite link).
Important notes
- You will be asked for your name/username at the beginning of each form and it's important that you give us the same information each time so that none of your information gets lost.
- To claim prizes, you can fill out a form. If you don’t want to use the form, you can write a Dreamwidth comment on the appropriate post, but that may take longer to process. (Comments will be screened, so anon commenters will not be able to see their own comments.)
- You don't have to claim any prizes you don't want or enter any raffles you're not interested in.
- Some prizes are physical items that will need to be mailed to you, but the only person who you will have to give your address to if you claim/win those prizes is the prize donor doing the mailing — the Triple Crown Committee is not collecting mailing addresses.
Verifying wins
On a practical level, winners can't claim prizes if the Triple Crown Committee can't verify that they've actually won. Happily, most Triple Crown winners will be pre-verified. Conditions for pre-verification:
- All of your qualifying works were posted under the same username.
- All of your qualifying works are still listed under that same username and have not been anonymized.
- You are claiming your prize under that same username.
If you are pre-verified you do not need to comment on the verification post, and you can proceed to claiming prizes and entering raffles! Verification is only necessary for winners who posted their works under several different usernames, have anonymized their works, have changed what account their works are on, etc.
If you do need to verify, it will be a fairly painless process that starts by giving us some information. Full information is on the verification post!
Once you've submitted your verification information, you can proceed to claiming prizes and entering raffles without waiting to hear from the committee! Just make sure you use the same username on all of the information you give us so that it doesn't get lost.
Claiming Prizes
We have a fine selection of prizes that all winners can claim! This includes a certificate, a custom icon, a small plushie friend, and more. Final details about the prizes are available on the All Winners prize claiming post for browsing before you tell us which ones you want.
If you don't want any of the All Winners prizes but do want to enter raffles, you can skip this entirely and give your information on the raffle entry post instead.
Entering Raffles
Many very generous folks have donated prizes that have to be won by raffle! They include some 10k fics, some art, a knit hat, and more. Final details about all the raffle prizes are available on the raffle entry post for browsing before you tell us which ones you want.
If you don't want any of the raffles, you can simply skip this portion of things and only fill out the All Winners prize claiming form.
