Crocheted Creatures Update!

Hi everyone! StormyDaze/heras-daughter here, with what you've all been waiting for, details about tiny crocheted creatures for Triple Crown Winners!

Here's how it's going to work:

• Our fantastic mod team will verify who has qualified for Triple Crown prizes and collect who is opting into what prize options. I, StormyDaze, will not be involved in this process. Once they have a list of who wants plushies, they will pass those email addresses ONLY on to me. I will send an email from triplecrownplushies@gmail.com to everyone who wants a plushie in order to get some information from you, including a shipping address.
  • I am the only person with access to the triplecrownplushies gmail account, so I am the only one who will know your address.
  • Since I am not checking who completed the Triple Crown, I will not be able to connect your AO3 account to your physical address.
• Once I get the information back from you, I will begin working on your plushies! I will send you an email once they have shipped.
  • Plushies will be shipped via USPS.
  • I will be shipping plushies using the cheapest available option. This may mean that it takes a while for you to receive your plushie. Please be patient.
  • Because shipping for this project is already going to be expensive, I will not be providing tracking info or expedited shipping unless a winner wants to pay for that themself.
• You get to enjoy your little crocheted friend!

WAY more people than I ever expected ended up completing the Triple Crown. This is fantastic! However, shipping for that many plushies is a little intimidating. So, I will be opening up for donations. Details on that coming soon.

Priority for creating triple crown plushies will mostly be based on first come first served re: responding to the emails I've sent, with two exceptions:

• If your plushie is particularly detailed or time-consuming to make, you may be bumped down the priority list. Three 2-hour plushies take precedence over one 6-hour plushie.
• If your request requires me to purchase materials, I may postpone that in favor of making plushies with materials I already have until I can go to the store.

What can you request for your plushie?

• PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING.
• Like, not to brag, but I'm pretty good at crochet and feel pretty confident in my ability to make just about whatever you want. You are encouraged to be creative.
• Caveat: it needs to be about 3-6 inches in size. So, a chibi of your OC is potentially on the table, but not a photo-realistic replica.
• If you want something very specific (ie, "my labradoodle Ralph" instead of "a dog,") please include a reference photo in your response to my email!
• Animals are usually easy enough to find patterns for.
• Also pokemon!
• I have been dying to make some blobmoji plushies, if anyone wants a notlikecryblob or blobknifemorning.
• I bought this mola mola pattern if anyone wants one!
• As I said, extremely basic chibis of your OCs are on the table if you have a sketch or very detailed physical description of them.
