Hello, intrepid candidates for coronation! The Triple Crown of Exchanges fanwork challenge is back for round two.

Triple Crown is a meta-challenge you can win by participating (with a sign up, as a pinch hitter, or with treats) in three different gift exchanges, each of which has a 10k fic/detailed art minimum:

• Five Figure Fanwork Exchange (fffx) is long, with a five-month writing period from August 2021 to January 2022. Round 2 nominations are underway NOW until July 27, so get nominating if you want your dearest fandoms in the tag set.
• Fic in a Box (ficinabox) is funky, with the ability to make multiple works in multiple media to complete an assignment. Round 2 nominations open in August and the creation period is approximately late August through October.
• Heart Attack Exchange (highadrenalineexchange) is short, with a two-week writing period. Round 2 nominations open November 1 and the creation period is November 13-28.

Notable changes from round one

• highadrenalineexchange will now require comments on gifts for Triple Crown completion.
• In fffx, you can win Triple Crown with pinch hit/treat gifts of 5k+ to different recipients.
• We will have an exciting pool of raffle prizes for you to win. We'll announce prize specifics (including prize creators) in early 2022.
• We are planning a secondary raffle specifically for pinch hitters who have completed pinch hits of 5k+ for a Triple Crown exchange.

Triple Crown FAQ

Didn't round one just finish? Yes! Round one is still ongoing for prize donors and prize winners. Please get in touch with the committee at triplecrowncommittee@gmail.com if you have hit a snag with creating or receiving prizes. Otherwise, creator check-in is next month between August 16 and 31 (see schedule here).

Can I volunteer to offer prizes for Round Two? Yes, absolutely! You can sign up to offer a 3c prize on Airtable. This form is an interest check only; we'll be confirming prize offers in February 2022 to make sure you're still interested in participating.

Do I need to be on Discord to participate in 3c? Not at all! We'd love to chat with you, but Discord is strictly optional for all 3c activities.
