Round 3: FIAB & FFFX Track Markers

Round Three of Triple Crown is underway! If you're aiming to complete this round of the challenge, this may be a busy period for you:

fffx is in its check-in period. If you have an open assignment, you need to contact the mod on the check-in post by the end of November 27 in EST. If you're interested in picking up an assignment or treating, there will be more pinch hits available before December.

ficinabox has recently revealed its works. To qualify for Triple Crown for this leg of the exchange, you need to have submitted 10,000 words in gifts or their equivalent in other media before creator reveals*, which will occur at the end of December 3 in EST. Congratulations if you've already done that, or if you've contributed 5K+ (or other media equivalent) of pinch hits - that also means you're eligible for prizes even if you don't complete the full Triple Crown.

*The Fic in a Box collection is moderated, but moderators are checking the queue approximately once a day. Works that are posted by the cut-off will be counted even if they aren't approved until December 4 or later.

hey there - just to clarify, this starts with the two summer/fall exchanges, fffx and ficinabox, correct? so if I wanted to participate in triple crown, i couldn't start with heart attack 2023 (coming up in a couple weeks), and then complete the next rounds of fffx and ficinabox 2023 later this summer?

That is correct! Assuming that there is a Round Four, Round Four of Triple Crown will begin with FFFX 2023-4 in August.
