How to Win Triple Crown: An Overview

triplecrownofexchanges Hey folks, we've had several questions about how to win Triple Crown over the past two weeks, so we thought we'd talk about how to qualify for Triple Crown prizes again.
You have to create an assignment-equivalent fanwork (or fanworks) for each exchange to qualify for a Triple Crown win. You need to post by author reveals for each exchange in order to be Triple Crown eligible. What counts for an assignment varies between the exchanges. Here's a handy infographic that breaks it down:
+ Fic in a Box: you can create 10k worth of fic and/or opt-ins for one person; or you can create a total of 10k worth of fic and/or opt-ins for multiple people. Assignments, pinch hits, and treats count.
+ Heart Attack: You can write a 10k fic for one person, or you can create a 10 page/25 panel comic for one person. Your work can be an assignment, pinch hit or treat. You cannot split the wordcount between multiple recipients.
+ Five Figure Fanwork Exchange: You can write a 10k fic for one person, or you can create a 10 page/40 panel comic for one person. Additionally, if someone has opted into it, you can create two 5k fics or two 5 page/20 panel comics for one person. Your work(s) can be an assignment, a pinch hit, or treat. You cannot split the wordcount between multiple recipients.
If you've produced 10k worth of fic or opt-ins for Fic in a Box before author reveals, then you qualify! If you're unsure of your total k, the Fic in a Box mods have this information available. You can post on the screened post for contacting mods on the Fic in the Box dreamwidth comm or email the FIAB mods at ficinaboxmod@gmail.com.
How do I know if I qualify for a Triple Crown win?
You will be able to comment on a screened post on this comm that we will set up for the purpose of verifying Triple Crown wins. We will only be able to verify Triple Crown wins when all three of the exchanges have finished and had author reveals (March 2021), so look for this post when we get closer to completing the final leg of the challenge!
I've completed the wordcount for the exchange(s), but I've been banned from one of them. Do I still qualify for Triple Crown certificates/prizes?
No. If you've been banned from any of the exchanges, you cannot qualify for Triple Crown prizes.
